Ian Halperin, the author of the upcoming expose` on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is upset at Star magazine for embellishing facts about his book. He says their cover story is a total fabrication ; they even went to press with it before he finished the book. “I was stunned,” Halperin tells Usmagazine.com of Star’s spread, which alleges inside access to his tome and teases details about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s “secret life of binge drinking, mind games, drugs, lovers and more!” “I never spoke to [the magazine],” he says. “In fact,” “I finished writing the book late last night which was hours after the Star story broke!” It’s funny how shocked he seems that they made up a story. They are pretty well known for it. Anything to sell copies, right? He wants us to wait and read the real thing for ourselves. “I urge people to wait until the real excerpts from the book are published to get the real story of what is actually in my book.” I’ll admit I’m intrigued.
