Less than a week ago , Heidi Montag replaced Spencer Pratt as her manager and hired her psychic, Aiden Chase. Rumor has it that Heidi has already fired him! Reportedly Aiden showed up on the set of the Adam Sandler movie she was shooting scenes for and started “demanding a significant portion of her Hills money.” The source said that he’s now moving on to Audrina Patridge , trying to convince her to hire him. “He’s this creepy older guy who is clearly preying on these young girls. It’s awful.” “The guy thinks he’s famous now — it’s ridiculous,” said the source. “He’s referring to himself as the most famous psychic in the world.” I wonder if this guy read Heidi and Spencer’s book? As sad as it may be, this was the week of the celebrity break-up. It started over the weekend with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy , and continued to celeb power couples Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes and Sandra Bullock and Jesse James . Taking all three of these break-ups together, and comparing them other past celeb break ups, a pattern starts to emerge. It seems that celebrity couples tend to break up not long after appearing together on the red carpet at a big event. Coincidence? Or a crafty bit of PR timing? For J-Love and Jamie, it was the celebration for the 100th episode of their show Ghost Whisperer , on March 1. Less than two weeks later, they were over . For Kate and Sam, and Sandra and Jesse, the red carpet was on a much bigger stage: the Academy Awards. Both couples were also spotted repeatedly on red carpets throughout the awards season this year and — for Kate and Sam, last year — with special attention paid to Sandra and Jesse, because Sandra was up for best actress honors for her role in The Blind Side . Somehow, their break up is that much more heartbreaking for fans because the couple’s sweet handholding and red carpet PDA has been splashed all over gossip rags for months. And although Kate walked the carpets solo this awards season, her marriage to Sam ended months ago, not long after she took home the Best Actress prize for The Reader . These three couples may be the current crop of celebs to fall prey to this hazard, but they are not the first to break up following a very public outing. The Oscars are a particular kiss of death. Just look at all the seemingly happy couples who have crashed and burned less than a year after one of them accepted Hollywood’s biggest prize: Halle Berry and husband Eric Benet , Julia Roberts and Benjamin Bratt , Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe , Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe , even Leo and Gisele .   Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael Lohan was rushed to the hospital earlier this week after suffering a mild heart attack. Yesterday, he was scheduled to undergo an angioplasty to unblock his clogged arteries, but America’s favorite dad was able to muster up the strength to talk to the press about his recent ordeal. Papa Lohan explains: “The surgeons are hoping this will work but if it does not then I may well have to get an immediate by-pass operation. This is all down to stress and living a certain lifestyle when I was young stockbroker in New York. The recent court case with my ex-fiancee Erin Mueller has also caused me a lot of stress too recently as I just wanted to settle the whole thing and for us both to move on with our lives.” As for Lindsay and his other children, they have been in touch according to Michael: “I got a text message from Lindsay which read: ‘OMG. Hope you are okay’ and my other kids have all been in contact with me too. My girlfriend Kate Major slept here with me overnight and my spirits have been lifted by the support from both my family and friends.   Corey Haim’s 40-year-old sister Carol “Cari” Haim welcomed a daughter on Monday via c-section. Molly Rose is the first child for Cari and her fiance Mark. She arrived just a day before her uncle’s funeral in Toronto. We’re sure the baby will bring Cari and Mark some joy during this difficult time. Congrats!!
