Yes, this movie is based on Cormac McCarthy’s novel, ‘The Road,’ which was also an Oprah Book Club pic. Viggo Mortensen stars in the movie, too. Given that it’s based on a best-selling novel, this has to be the quietest release for a movie adaptation I’ve ever seen. These pictures are the first I’ve heard about the film coming out.
