In other Jennifer Lopez news today, she’s set to guest-star on an episode of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ . She won’t be playing a lunch lady like the folks at ‘Glee’ have in store, instead Jennifer will be playing the role of an outspoken self-help guru, Anita Appleby. Her character makes it her mission to cure Barney (played by Neil Patrick Harris ) of his womanizing. Good luck with that! lol The show had this to say: “We’re looking forward to a week of revealing outfits and sexy dance moves the likes of which this show hasn’t seen since Regis Philbin guest starred,” series executive producer and co-creator Carter Bays says. Jennifer’s episode is set to air sometime in March. Carrie Underwood just recently finished shooting an episode for this season, as well as Rachel Bilson – who turned out NOT to be “THE” mother, as rumored . She was just “THE” mother’s roommate! Michael Jackson is to perform from beyond the grave in a 3-D tribute at the Grammy Awards. Some of the world’s biggest stars – including Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Smokey Robinson and Usher – will take to the stage next Sunday (31.01.10) to sing alongside a high-tech video of the late King of Pop’s ‘Earth Song’, a segment which was going to be an integral part of his ‘This Is It’ London residency.

I wondered if things were getting more serious between Carrie Underwood and NHL player Mike Fisher when they actually started talking (a little bit) about their relationship in interviews, and it looks like things were. According to Carrie’s rep, the couple are engaged . “I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier,” her rep tells PEOPLE. “No wedding date has been set at this time.” Mike also confirmed their engagement, telling the Toronto Sun they were both ” excited and happy .” Congratulations, Carrie and Mike! Carrie Underwood sat down and gave a very candid interview with Self magazine for the January issue. Carrie revealed that she has a “bucket list”. “Before I die, I want to get rid of all my money,” she says. She’s also giving back to her community in any way she can: Recently, I started a foundation to benefit my hometown [the Checotah Animal, Town and School Foundation: C.A.T.S.],” she says. “I’m looking forward to doing a lot of good for a community that’s a big part of why I am who I am.” Carrie also shared her future plans for children: “Not that I have a husband to have one with yet, but someday I’d like a family – not a big one, but not a small one either. Two kids is good; three is fine. Four? Somebody’s getting something done, because we ain’t having five!” Sounds like three might be the lucky number for Carrie. Five kids would be a lot of work! They even got her to admit to one of her biggest pet peeves: “It drives me crazy when people put stuff in the wrong place,” she says. “When I have people over and they try to help clean up, I’m like, ‘No, I’ve got it!’” She seems to keep herself humble and “normal”, doesn’t she? Eddie Cibrian filed a court declaration stating that his ex-wife, Brandi, slashed the tires on his motorcyle. He claims it happened during an argument back in August while he was still living in the guest house. Cibrian states that Glanville “verbally and physically attacked” him and “in a fit of rage, slashed the tires of my Harley-Davidson motorcycles.” Brandi isn’t denying those claims at all! I’m sure her lawyer isn’t too happy about that. “Yes, I slashed his Harley tires,” Glanville tells E! News exclusively. “And it felt awesome!” “He broke my heart, so I broke his Harleys,” Glanville says. “It was right after I found out about girl No. 2, and I had that Carrie Underwood song in my head, and I just went for it!” Anyone else immediately think of the Carrie Underwood song “Before He Cheats” before you even read the rest of her quote? American Idol winner and country music star, Carrie Underwood, takes being a role model very seriously. But it was her quote about living her life according to her personal motto that caught my attention: my motto is, I would never want to do anything that would embarrass my own children in the future,” Carrie shared this with fans during an Invitation Only Q&A set to air tomorrow night at 9 p.m. ET on CMT. “I think that’s the best way to look at things,” she adds. “Or, I never want to do anything that would make my parents, my role models, disappointed in me.” I think I can name several celebrities who should also take this motto under serious consideration! I give her a lot of credit for taking her reputation and public persona very seriously. There are so many out there who will do anything just to get some press, regardless of the future implications. Michael Jackson was honored with four American Music Awards (AMAs) last night. The late ‘Thriller’ singer’s brother Jermaine Jackson paid tribute to the star when accepting the prizes for Favorite Soul/ R’n’B Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Male Vocalist, Favorite Pop/Rock Album and Favorite Soul/R’n’B Album for his ‘Number Ones’ greatest hits compilation, praising his life philosophy. Janet Jackson had opened the show with a medley of her greatest hits, while Lady Gaga’s performance also proved a talking point. The ‘Poker Face’ singer, wearing a spectacular headdress and vest filled with lights, performed songs from her new album, ‘The Fame Monster’, and used her microphone to break into a glass case containing a grand piano. As she started to play, the instrument caught fire. Typical Gaga right? Other performers included Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Jay-Z, and Jennifer Lopez , who fell over mid-way through her tricky dance routine of ‘Louboutins’: Want to see the full list of winners?
