Motorola ‘jumped the gun’ with details of Droid’s Android 2.1 update

Turns out all that excitement and frothing at the mouth was for nothing, as Motorola’s surprisingly nippy move to Android 2.1 on the Droid isn’t going to be all that rapid after all. The Moto Owners’ Forum manager has admitted that a few trigger-happy souls rushed out the details of the Droid’s upcoming OS update ahead of time, and the current situation is quite as it was before this news: your Droid will be chomping down on an Eclair , just not as soon as you might have been led to hope. The original source of the belief that the update will be hitting this week was Moto’s Facebook page, but PC Mag ’s sleuthing has revealed that the position has now changed to “soon” over there as well. Eva Green Says Auditions Are Brutal

I can get sick just THINKING about the pressure actors must feel when going into an audition. A room filled with people analyzing your every move… Eva Green says that auditions are “brutal”. She told Britain’s Independent magazine: “There’s always something wrong. They’re brutal, it’s a jungle. It’s as if you’re a facade, like a model who can’t act.” “When I’m prepping and really working on it, I’m freaking out – that I’m not going to measure up, it’s not going to work. That I’m going to look so bland, and I have no idea what the director wants. I freak out completely.” While Eva hates the experience of auditioning, she says she has to like a film as much a producers like her before she will sign up. “I’ve been lucky. But the thing is, I wish I could learn to do work for the sake of it. Sometimes actors do this. They learn from each experience, even if the film was not that great. I can’t do that.
